Why are we asking for funding?

Hi dear Epic community,

I am Soe Thu Lin from Myanmar, I am living in UAE. My country is in need of help. Myanmar millitary took the power from the elected government since Feb 1st till now. Our president, State counselor, many of our political leaders, and many civilians are arrested now. Our people are fighting against the junta for the democracy. More than 70 people were killed and more than 2000 people including students were arrested, and countless people are injured across the country everyday. We people here abroad are helping to our people who are fighting for the country. Everything has stopped in Myanmar, Education, Business, Heath care. Pleople are fighting not only at days but nights. Some people they have no food, no shelter. Please donate to the people of Myanmar.
